Individual, couples, family and group therapy
Psychotherapy & Counselling
A steady, confidential place to work through what you're carrying — on your own, with your partner, or as a family.
Maybe things have felt heavy for a while. Maybe something specific happened, or maybe you simply can't put your finger on why the days feel harder than they used to. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to sort it out on your own.
Psychotherapy is a remarkably versatile form of care. It supports people living with a wide range of mental health conditions and emotional difficulties, and certain approaches go further — gently exploring the psychological roots of what you're experiencing so that you can function better and feel genuinely well again, not just get by.
How we work together
Therapy can take place one-to-one, with your partner, as a family, or in a small group — and it's available for children as well as adults. Sessions usually run about 50 minutes and are most often weekly, though we'll shape that around your life.
Some people come for a short stretch — a few weeks or months focused on an immediate challenge. Others stay longer, working through something more complex over months or years. There is no correct answer. You and your therapist set the goals and the pace together, and revisit them as things change.
What you can expect
Confidentiality is a core commitment of our practice. What you bring into the room stays in the room. Your therapist's job is to be steady, curious and honest with you — never to judge you or hurry you.
